How excellent are your works, O God!
Your people see them and rejoice,
those who you have called from every nation, from every time;
the poor and the rich, the unknown and the great.
Out of the east you called Abraham,
and made of him a nation, Israel, your holy people;
From slavery in Egypt you delivered them.
