I am a student seeking to glorify God through thinking and writing. This blog is intended to edify, motivate, and delight. For the most part I post items that are more or less of general or at least universal interest, focusing on history, theology, and ethics. I aim for timelessness rather than immediacy (hence not much commentary on the news), but of course you’ll find personal musings and poetry from time to time as well.

Hi Peter–I try to read all your blogs and I find them interesting, instructive and oftimes spiritually uplifting. I feel highly blessed to have such a thoughtful and Christian believing grandson. May the Lord continue to bless you in every way.
